Kerrowkeil was built prior to 1850 and used to be the farmhouse for a large estate. We bought it in 1980 in a derelict condition and have spent the intervening time renovating and extending it into the warm welcoming home it is today.
Set in the tranquil countryside just outside St Johns, our location provides convenient access to all parts of the Island, either using public, or your own form of transport.
There are many pleasant walks in the area and we are close to the mid point for longer walks such as the millennium way.
If the more energetic holiday is what you have in mind, we are a lick and a spit down the road from “The Shack” which is the HQ of Adventurous Experiences.
There are several good restaurants, supplying a variety of cuisine, within a fifteen minute drive and we are only a short distance from Peel the home of the world’s best kippers and ice cream.
Our aim is to provide you with a relaxed, comfortable and peaceful base from which to enjoy your holiday on our beautiful Island. Which includes starting your day with a generous Manx breakfast, vegetarian and coeliac guests catered for, please advise when booking.
